Ostara

Ostara is a fast-growing variety with a fairly open and attractive crop, it has a rich bloom with many long-stemmed inflorescences, a good fruit setting and large, cone-shaped, attractive fruits.

Plant properties

Ostara’s plants are strong, open and wide-growing. The leaf is medium in size and has a dark green colour. The plants are very productive. The ripening period is from mid-July to November. The fruits are firm, not fragile, juicy, fresh in taste and have a red-colored flesh.

Disease and pest resistance

Ostara is quite susceptible to fruit rot, wilt and red root rot; little susceptible to mildew and basal rot and susceptible to viruses.
