Ramires

Ramires is an asparagus variety that is suitable for the cultivation of white asparagus. The stems are thick and the production is very good.

Cultivation

Ramires grows well on many different soils, on lighter soils, the stems will be thicker. A planting density of 3 or 4 plants/m² is recommended. Ramires is easy to harvest early by growing the plants in a tunnel, greenhouse or with black and white foil.

Plant properties

Ramires is a very productive variety with a good stem quality. The stems are thick, smooth and straight. The tip closure is also good.

Disease and pest resistance

Ramires is tolerant to many common diseases and fungi.
