Erasmus
Erasmus is an asparagus variety that is suitable for the cultivation of purple asparagus. The plants are early and have a very good yield.
Cultivation
Erasmus grows well with a planting density of 5 or 6 plants/m². After the harvest, the stems get very long so it is good to add support to them. This can be done by making the ridges higher after the harvest. The plants can grow well under a tunnel.

Erasmus is a very productive variety with a very purple colour. The taste and quality are also very good.
