Grolim
Grolim is an asparagus variety that is suitable for the cultivation of white asparagus. The plants are medium early and of good quality.
Cultivation
Grolim grows well on sandy and clay soils that are well-drained. Soils that are very wet are not suitable. The plants grow best with a planting density of 5 or 8 plants/m² and a planting depth of 18-22 cm. Grolim is easy to harvest early by growing it under foil. The production remains good, even though the harvest is earlier.
Plant properties
Grolim has good-quality stems. The stems are thick, straight and show little to no pink discolouration, they also have a good tip closure.

The plants have few problems with diseases.
